The Willoughton Wanderer

"Eating my way through life one bite at a time!"

About Willoughton Wanderer

Welcome to Willoughton Wanderer – a food, recipe, and travel-inspired blog where I share my adventures in eating my way through life, one bite at a time.

This blog began as a way to capture the meals, recipes, and hidden gems that shape my days – from the pubs and restaurants of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire to the occasional foray further afield. Alongside the eating out, you’ll also find recipes from my own kitchen: some traditional, some with a twist, and all written for anyone who loves good food without taking it too seriously.

At its heart, Willoughton Wanderer is about curiosity and enjoyment – trying something new, discovering flavours, and finding stories in the everyday act of eating. Whether I’m reviewing a local inn, tinkering with a recipe for steak tartare, or turning a glut of summer fruit into a pudding, the aim is the same: to share food that makes life a little brighter.

So pull up a chair, have a browse, and join me on the wander. Who knows – you might find your next favourite dish or your new go-to place for lunch.

Seafood pasta with creamy sauce, tagliatelle, king prawns, and shrimp – fresh Italian dish.
